Time for Change?

I’ve been speaking with lots of people lately who feel a little unmotivated, coupled with a sprinkle of restlessness and a desire for change. It does feel like things have been paused somewhat for quite some time for so many of us, so I think it’s inevitable that we might want to see a shift somewhere in our lives.

Although the feelings of frustration, or fed-up-ness, or boredom can be unpleasant, it can serve us to turn to face them and listen to what they are nudging us towards.

Perhaps it is time to change your role, change where you live, change something about your relationships or friendships. Perhaps it’s time to let some things go, or embark on a new and different adventure.

In whatever form a change takes it can be really helpful to do so with self-awareness. Making change as a reaction can lead us in an unfulfilling direction, but making change after taking a bit of time to ground ourselves in what we value, our sense of purpose and with a connection to things/places/topics that excite us can be a super powerful way to move forward.

Our invitation to you this week is to take an hour to step back, to look at any changes you might want to make, to identify the values and opportunities you want more of, and to think about how best to move forward.

With love as always, Hannah and Team Bird
