Writing for wellbeing

Happy Friday!

As you know every week I write this blog in order to offer a little pause for thought and reflection. The blog is ever so useful for me too, it offers me the chance to gather up thoughts I’ve been having over the week and formulate some kind of sense out of them. It’s really therapeutic and I wonder why I don’t do more writing or journaling.

A friend and colleague of mine has been leading writing workshops for years and we were discussing the benefits of writing for our wellbeing. We decided it would be lovely to offer some guided space to people who work in the not-for-profit sector to use words and writing to create calm and an opportunity to process all that is going on right now.

And so on 11th August from 10-12pm Judi Sissons will be leading a writing workshop for Bird readers. The workshop will provide a supportive, non-judgemental and equal space where participants can engage with a variety of enjoyable writing exercises. We’d love to have you there, do take a look to see if it is something you’d like to be part of.

If you have any further questions about the workshop please do let me know.

With love as always, Hannah
