So a month ago, nine of us headed out to Knockerdown Cottages in Derbyshire. We stayed for three days and spent our time eating nutritious food, exploring new and varied yoga moves and developing a deeper understanding of ourselves and the impact we wanted to have on the world by working on ‘Letting go’, ‘Self compassion’ and ‘Looking forward’. We laughed, we cried, we shared stories and we decided on future actions. It was a magical weekend away.
And we’re thinking of doing it all over again in 2017, and we are currently accepting expressions of interest for anyone keen to learn more.
We are hoping to run both a UK based retreat and an international retreat, for those of you who would like to prioritise stepping away from the busyness of life and reconnecting to who you are and what you want to create in the world.

‘The Bird retreat was exactly what I needed after a really busy few months at work. The space that was created for us all to safely explore emotions and issues was just perfect to reconnect with myself and to remind myself how important self-care is in being who I want to be, as well as for meeting a lovely bunch of people! After the weekend I was left with such a sense of peace I couldn’t quite believe it.
