Self care online

I recently took myself off Facebook. I noticed it wasn’t serving me at all being on there. I didn’t even enjoy the aesthetics of the site, and found myself down rabbit hole after rabbit hole of information that triggered more anxiety and comparison than feelings of self care and compassion.

The online world is a hectic topsy turvy space, but there are sanctuaries where you can check in and re-energise. Here are a few I have found:

COURAGEworks

The Good Life Project

Tiny Buddha

The School of Life

If you’re reading when you’ve got a bit of time, and your next natural step might be to check out social media, why not try one of the links instead, and notice whether it alters the way you feel by the time you step away from your computer.
