A year ago a colleague of mine said ‘people don’t go to war because of hate, people go to war because of love.’ It blew my mind. I didn’t understand what he was talking about at first, but after time it started to sink in. This video, about what’s going on in the world at the moment helped me to understand what he was saying:

All any of us really wants is to be loved and to feel accepted as who we are. A question I regularly ask clients is ‘who are you really?’ And more often than not there isn’t an immediate answer. As a coach my main role is to open peoples eyes to who they really are and then show them how beautiful that version of them really is. My clients are ace because they know that by seeing and celebrating themselves fully, they are able to give so much more to the world.
We aren’t asked this question enough, and we don’t ask it of ourselves enough either. I encourage you, with all my heart, to ask yourself ‘who am I, deep down?’ and then give yourself absolute permission to love and accept what you see. Let’s start a revolution, of open minded, open hearted people ready to accept ourselves, and each other just as we are.
