I’ve been reminded of the following quote this week, and wanted to share it:
‘There will be times when standing alone feels too hard, too scary, and we’ll doubt our ability to make our way through the uncertainty. Someone, somewhere, will say, ‘Don’t do it. You don’t have what it takes to survive the wilderness.’ This is when you reach deep into your wild heart and remind yourself, I am the wilderness.’ Dr Brené Brown.
Oftentimes it’s our own inner gremlin that says we don’t have what it takes to survive uncertainty. In reality, we have absolutely everything we need to survive uncertainty. We are resilient and resourceful and capable of asking for help and putting in necessary boundaries when needed. We know that life is a journey of twists and turns and ups and downs, but we can be with it all. We are powerful beyond measure and if we are brave enough to try things, to fail, to start over again, we will inevitably come up against challenges, but we are more than capable of emerging powerfully out the other side.
